Caroline has been encouraged by leaders in AFSA to run for an open seat on the national General Executive Board. The election for those positions was scheduled for March 2021 and has just been postponed to March 2022.
Due to that, Caroline appointed Michael Essien to be interim president of UASF for the rest of her elected term, from July 1, 2021-June 30, 2022. Michael enthusiastically accepted and the executive board approved the appointment on 4/26. Michael has been an active member of the executive board and the negotiation team. Congratulations!
